I live in the heart of Krispy Kreme country. There’s a reason there are cars lined up to the street at every KK when the “Hot Now” light is on.

KK built a brand new building near me, was out of business in 3 years. I’ve always thought that the best donuts come from a good local shop. That said, KK glazed donuts when hot are pretty freaking good.

Eat one, and you will never want to again - they are disgusting. I have them offered periodically throughout the year and I will dabble with them. But I end up in a fetal position the next morning trying to recant the previous days happenings......

I find the best ones they make are the simple glazed ones. So light with sugar crunches.
Of course they’re about a billion calories being deep fried and coated with sugar.
I hope you’re not diabetic.
But if you’re in the Toronto area, I recommend you try
Glory Hole Doughnuts.
They’re expensive, but amazing...

I kinda think that people that like Krispy Kreme glazed donuts only like them because they’ve never tried LaMar’s Donuts.
